Min-Woo YOUN

Patent Attorney

Min-Woo Youn has ample experience in prosecuting patent applications before the Korea Intellectual Property Office in the technical fields of mechanical engineering, computer controlled machines, mechanical vibration, LED and display device, and fluid machines.

Since joining Lee International IP & Law in 2011, Mr. Youn has handled patent cases relating to automobiles, motors, semiconductor manufacturing, mobile devices, display devices, heat exchangers and sports equipment. Mr. Youn has also provided legal opinions regarding issues of patent invalidity and patent infringement, and conducted prior art and clearance searches.

Prior to joining Lee International IP & Law, Mr. Youn worked at Muhann Patent and Law Firm (2009-2011) as Patent Attorney. He also served as a reviewer of the 2nd round of 2010 Patent Attorney exam.

Mr. Youn graduated from Hanyang University summa cum laude with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering (advanced program certified by the Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea (or ABEEK). Additionally, he studied intellectual property law at University of New Hampshire – Franklin Pierce School of Law in the United State and received an LL. M. in intellectual property in 2022.
