Dong-Wuk Seo is a Senior Advisor at Lee International IP & Law. With a doctorate in Civil & Commercial Law from Renmin University of China, Mr. Seo has extensive corporate and IP related advisory experience. As a Councilor (Patent Advisor) at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China, he forged lasting relationships with the staffs of the State Administration for Market Supervision (SAMR), National Intellectual Property Administration, General Administration of Customs, and Ministry of Commerce, as well as with officials of intellectual property courts in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
When Mr. Seo was working as a Director of the Korean Cultural Center in Shanghai, he worked to promote mutual exchanges in diverse fields such as copyright, distribution of K-wave and cultural contents.
Mr. Seo has unparalleled experience in China from his 10 years as a diplomat and is the only person who acquired a doctorate in China (in Civil & Commercial Law) among Korean officials who passed the Higher Civil Service Examination.
