Mi-Cheong Lee is a senior trademark and design attorney. She has represented domestic and foreign clients in infringement analyses, prior art searches, prosecution, trials and litigation regarding trademarks and designs.
Ms. Lee has particularly broad experience in handling invalidation trials, cancellation trials and confirmation-of-scope trials for trademark registrations and design registrations. She advised clients on managing IP portfolios and heavily involved in the fashion industry.
Prior to joining Lee International IP & Law, Ms. Lee worked as a trademark and copyright attorney at Deryook International Patent and Law Firm for three years.
Ms. Lee graduated from Seoul National University with a Bachelor of Science degree in clothing & textiles. She is fluent in English and has a professional working knowledge in Japanese.
Ms. Lee is a co-author of the Korea chapters of “The International Comparative Legal Guide to Trade Marks” by Global Legal Group, and another article in ”World Trademark Review (WTR): Trade Marks” by the IP Media Group.
She is an active member of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association (KPAA), the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the Korea Trademark & Design Association (KOTA).
