Patent Attorney

Bo-Young Han is a patent attorney at Lee International IP & Law. Han is in charge of domestic/overseas patent filings, OAs and handling of appeals against decision of refusal in the fields of electronic materials, semiconductors, communications, circuits and so on.

After being admitted as a patent attorney in 2014, Bo-Young Han worked as a patent attorney at the electronics division of Koreana Patent Firm (2015-2021) where she took charge of patent filings and registrations, preparation of opinions and amendments on OAs and handling of appeals against decision of refusal in the fields of electronic materials, semiconductors, communications, displays, circuits and so on. Han has extensive experience in patent cases related to electronic materials, semiconductors, communications and displays. In particular, she often represented various overseas IT companies before the Korean Intellectual Property Tribunal in their patent rejection trials.

Bo-Young Han graduated Seoul National University (B.S., Materials Science and Engineering, 2015) and can handle practical affairs both in English and Japanese. Han is a current member of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association.
